Telemedicine System - BITCare Plus

BITCare Plus is a cloud-based remote consultation service that enables local healthcare providers to use information and communication technology, such as computers and video conferencing, to support remote medical professionals with medical knowledge or skills. This system allows local healthcare providers to receive medical images and biometric data, such as those from electronic stethoscopes, medical magnifiers, ECGs, blood analyzers, and other biometric measurement devices, transmitted via information and communication technology from remote healthcare professionals, thereby supporting patient care for distant patients.
The telemedicine system is designed to provide medical services to patients in areas with limited access to healthcare, such as remote mountainous regions, islands, isolated military bases, deep-sea vessels, and correctional facilities. Through a network, remote doctors can measure vital signs such as blood pressure, blood sugar, pulse, body fat, ECG, and auscultation (heart/lung sounds) using patient monitoring devices. The system stores results from clinical testing devices, such as blood analysis, urine analysis, and PSA tests. Additionally, it transmits medical images such as endoscopy, X-rays, CR, CT, and MRI via video codecs. Local healthcare providers can review these images, conduct remote consultations, make diagnoses, and issue prescriptions (or treatment guidelines).

Patient Information Management Service

This service allows for easy viewing of a patient’s basic and biometric information. Both local and remote locations can share patient data, biometric information, and medical history. The local healthcare facility automatically stores biometric data through various measurement devices, which can then be monitored in real-time from remote locations.
Prescription Management Service

This service supports healthcare providers in registering and managing the information needed for patient prescriptions. It enables the management of previous prescriptions and prescription sets that can be used for new prescriptions, as well as searching for diagnoses and medications during prescription entry, ensuring more accurate medical services for patients.
Remote Video Consultation Service

This service enhances the quality of medical services provided to patients by supporting video consultations. For abnormal symptoms that require expert opinions, remote video consultations between healthcare professionals allow for accurate diagnoses, ensuring the patient receives the best possible care.
